CafeMom is a free forum for moms who want to connect. Their membership is huge and they have thousands of groups. When you sign up you get a home page that you can design. You can invite friends, upload photos and post to your journal. I have only recently joined and so far find it to be a great community and an excellent way to network with other moms. Get advice and support from moms. Share your thoughts, photos and more.

Cafe Mom is a cool place to hang out!
I liked CafeMom, but it didn't really seem like a place for professional work-at-home people, but just moms that are the want-to-work-at-home-but-instead-just-stay-at-home type... so I had difficulty relating.
CafeMom offers a lot more than their work at home forum. They have great support for mothers of children of all ages and hundreds of groups for all interest. I have found it to be useful as a networking tool. But I do understand not being able to relate to some things because I don't either!
