CONSUMER TECHNICAL SPECIALIST I - Work At Home - Embarq
Hiring in FL, IN, KS, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NV, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WY. Starting annual salary for this position is $22,968 ($11.00/hour)--non negotiable. The salary range for this position is $21,000 to $39,000. Employees in this position are also eligible for incentive-based performance bonuses. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications are:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, MAC, OS drivers, and familiarity with TCP/IP protocols.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware/software and familiarity with data products and services.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work self sufficiently and effectively in a home-based work environment.
Ability to consistently handle a high volume of customer calls in a professional manner throughout the workday.
Previous technical support experience is preferred.
